 Dr. Dennis has publications in a variety of specialty medical journals. Also designed a variety of surgical instruments in his specialty, and contributed his knowledge to assist others in development of other instruments.

Dr. Dennis, in 1977, starting performing laser surgery at Johns Hopkins Hospital.
Dr. Dennis, the first to bring CO2 Laser Surgery to Atlanta, Georgia in 1980.
He was the first in Atlanta, Georgia to perform an Endoscopic CO2 Laser hemilaryngectomy for the treatment of Largygeal Cancer in 1980.
Dr. Dennis, the first in the world to perform Endoscopic CO2 Laser Cordotomy for the successful rehabilitation of bilateral vocal cord paralysis.
First to invent the instrumentation and successfully perform bloodless Bipolar Submucosal Nasal Turbinate Coagualtion for the relief of nasal airway obstruction.
